Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) Info Session

4:00 PM, Thursday, February 21, 336 Ingraham Hall
This is a session devoted to discussing the Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship Program. If you are an undergraduate who is interested in teaching English abroad after you graduate, or a graduate student early in your graduate career, you are invited to attend this session to learn more about the different types of teaching opportunities, as well as how to plan a competitive application. The Fulbright ETA program is extremely competitive; planning ahead is crucial to your success. You can find information on the Fulbright website, http://us.fulbrightonline.org/about/types-of-grants.

Reminder: Fulbright Information Session for Undergraduates

3:30 PM, Wednesday, February 13 in 336 Ingraham Hall

If you are an undergraduate interested in pursuing a project abroad after you graduate, this session is for you. Undergraduates at all levels are welcome to attend; it’s never too early to find out what you’ll need to do to produce a competitive Fulbright application. If you will be graduating in December 2013 or May 2014, you should begin planning your project this semester.

Applicants must be US citizens to be eligible for a grant.

Meet Zig Hampel-Arias, UW-Madison’s Fulbright Ambassador

As the new Fulbright Alumni Ambassador at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Zig Hampel-Arias likes to share his experiences as a Fulbright-supported researcher in Argentina to help encourage prospective applicants.

Hampel-Arias and International Fellowships Officer Crawley have scheduled several sessions this semester because it is a good time for people to begin their applications for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program.

The next information session for the Fulbright U.S. Student program is Wednesday, Feb. 13, 3:30-4:30pm in 336 Ingraham Hall.

The information session for Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship is Thursday, Feb. 21, 4:00-5:00, 336 Ingraham Hall.
