Schwarzman Scholars competition

Schwarzman Scholars competition is open.

Application opens: April 15, 2015
UW-Madison deadline: July 22, 2015
Foundation deadline: October 1, 2015

*No institutional letter of endorsement or nomination from the candidate’s undergraduate or graduate university is required. However, a very brief assessment form for applicants who are currently enrolled students, to be completed by a Scholarship or Fellowship Advisor, will be required. Current students interested in applying should contact the Undergraduate Academic Awards Office.

A one year Master Degree in Public Policy, or Economics and Business, or International relations. The program has been designed as an immersion year in China for students posed to become future leaders. Students will refine and expand their leadership abilities while completing a fully funded, one-year master’s Degree in one of three disciplines: Public Policy, Economics and Business or International Studies. With a $350 million endowment, Schwarzman Scholars will be the single largest philanthropic effort ever undertaken in China by largely international donors.

The Undergraduate Academic Awards office will be completing the assessment form for enrolled UW-Madison students. Students should submit their applications to the Undergraduate Academic Awards office by the campus deadline,

Erin Crawley in the International Fellowships office is also available to advise students on the competition, but will not be completing assessment forms.
