Most grantees plan their own programs. Information about the country programs, types of grants, and the electronic application system can be accessed at http://us.fulbrightonline.org/. Applicants must be US citizens.

NOTE: The Fulbright US Student program administered by the Institute for International Education is a completely separate program from the Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad competition run by the US Department of Education. They do not share application requirements, systems, or deadlines. Both programs do have campus components to them that do run through the International Fellowships Office.
